Synopsis
The monologues of two pregnant women, developed in two different times but united by the same circumstances of gestation, slowly weave the story of a mother and her daughter born in captivity. The symmetry and knots between both dialogues reveal the true identity. My contribution to this project focuses on sound editing.
The play premiered at Sala El Nudo, as part of the Teatroxlaidentidad cycle. The playwright actively participated in the management of the cycle along with other artists, supporting the work of Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo. This play was later restaged in its full version outside of the TxI cycle in Buenos Aires and toured Spain, with a two-month run at Teatro de La Villa in Madrid. It was selected to participate in the Teatro a Mil Festival in Chile, the Festival de Cádiz in Spain, and the Miami Festival in the USA. It has been translated into 4 languages and premiered in Paris, London, Madrid, Mexico, and the USA.
